The Restaurant Zone Manager at Raising Cane's plays a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant Leader by overseeing the daily operations and management of one restaurant zone. This role demands a balance of leadership, operational oversight, and a commitment to upholding the brand's high standards of service and quality. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, the Zone Manager ensures that operations run smoothly, with a focus on maintaining safety, cleanliness, and superior customer experience. The position involves significant physical activity, including extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending, and requires working with food products, industrial kitchen equipment, and commercial cleaning agents while adhering to safety protocols. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, energetic, and possess strong communication skills, as they will be responsible for directing crewmembers, enforcing company policies, and managing operational tasks such as shift execution, documentation, and corrective actions when necessary. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience or Raising Cane’s advanced crew experience
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • completion of all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
  • able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • able to recognize problems, set goals, execute plans and convert them into action
  • detail-oriented and organized
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensures operations meet Raising Cane’s standards in one restaurant zone during a shift
  • enforces Raising Cane’s policies and standards
  • manages assigned zone according to Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards
  • uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • directs crewmembers during a shift
  • provides exemplary customer service
  • supports execution of reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts and promotions
  • ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and facility maintenance
  • completes other duties as assigned
