Job Description

Mendocino Farms is a vibrant and fast-growing restaurant brand known for its commitment to delivering not just delicious food but a memorable and happy dining experience. Since its founding in 2005, Mendocino Farms has been dedicated to crafting sandwiches and salads with fresh, high-quality ingredients that guests can feel good about. The brand prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it’s a place where guests can embark on a culinary adventure, enjoying an approachably adventurous menu that connects them to food and community. Mendocino Farms operates with the philosophy that food is a love language, and every guest is either a friend they haven’t yet met or one they’re welcoming back. This welcoming and customer-oriented approach creates a unique environment where team members are encouraged to sell happiness with passion and enthusiasm.

Mendocino Farms is now excited to open a new location in North Scottsdale and is actively hiring dynamic individuals to join the team. The new location will offer a range of positions including Front of House (FOH) team members such as hosts, cashiers, and food runners, as well as Back of House (BOH) kitchen team members including line cooks and prep cooks. This opportunity is ideal for those who are passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of a team that values personality, attitude, and a genuine desire to help people. The company provides a supportive and growth-oriented work environment where every team member is part of a collaborative and energetic culture.

The roles are part-time with flexible schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the nature of the restaurant industry and the commitment to serving the community throughout the week. While the positions start as part-time, there are opportunities to grow into full-time roles. All team members at Mendocino Farms participate in a tip pool, ensuring that employees share in the financial rewards of excellent service and guest satisfaction.

Back of House team members are cross-trained to work in multiple kitchen stations such as prep, dishwashing, garnish, and grill. This cross-training ensures that employees gain a broad skill set, making the kitchen a dynamic and engaging environment. The company emphasizes not just the production of sandwiches and salads, but the creation of a happy and joyful atmosphere where both employees and guests can thrive.

Working at Mendocino Farms comes with a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and development of team members. Eligible employees can access health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, participate in a 401(k) match program, and receive paid sick leave. Additional perks include an employee assistance program, parking and transit reimbursement, discounted tickets for entertainment through Tickets at Work, pet insurance, gym memberships, and free delicious meals on every shift. The company also offers English language classes at work, supporting team members who wish to improve their language skills and grow professionally.

Mendocino Farms is looking for individuals with great personalities, hospitable attitudes, and a passion for connecting with people. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible schedules. Prior experience in restaurants or retail, including positions such as cook, cashier, server, host, or kitchen staff, is strongly preferred but not mandatory. The key to success at Mendocino Farms is a positive attitude and a genuine desire to create happy experiences for guests. If you are enthusiastic about joining a company that values happiness, growth, and community, then Mendocino Farms in North Scottsdale is the place to be. Applications are open and encouraged from motivated individuals who want to be part of this exciting new venture.
