Job Description

Whataburger is a beloved fast-food restaurant chain renowned for its iconic, made-to-order burgers and exceptional customer service. Founded in 1950, Whataburger has grown into a strong presence in the fast-food industry with a dedicated fan base and a commitment to delivering craveable food and a memorable dining experience. Whataburger is well-known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality ingredients, and the signature orange-and-white striped buildings that make it a recognizable and cherished brand in Texas and beyond. The company fosters a culture of teamwork, community involvement, and continuous growth, making it a sought-after employer in the quick-service restaurant sector.

The role of a Restaurant Team Member at Whataburger is dynamic and rewarding, offering employees a chance to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where each day is unique. As a Team Member, you are the secret ingredient behind the seamless execution of daily operations — from greeting customers with a smile to preparing delicious menu items that keep customers coming back. The job role involves collaborating with fellow team members to create a positive atmosphere filled with laughter and camaraderie. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in environments where customer satisfaction and attention to detail are paramount. Flexible schedules and a supportive management team ensure that employees can balance work with other life commitments.

Whataburger provides competitive weekly pay, flexible shifts including day, night, evening, and overnight options, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The company encourages growth with a clear career path, where motivated individuals can advance towards leadership roles, potentially earning six-figure incomes as Operating Partners. Part-time and full-time positions are available to fit diverse needs, making it easier for students, veterans, and career changers to find their place. Beyond the competitive compensation, Whataburger offers a range of benefits such as scholarship programs, paid time off, wireless and computer software discounts, fitness and gym membership discounts, discounted meals, and health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible team members. The work environment also celebrates achievements and provides awards to recognize hard work and dedication.

Whataburger is not just a business but a family-oriented community committed to supporting and uplifting future leaders and entrepreneurs. It is proud to maintain partnerships with organizations like the National Federation of State High School Associations, RecruitMilitary, InHerSight, and the Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association. This dedication to diversity and inclusion is central to Whataburger's identity, inviting people from all walks of life—retirees, teenagers, experienced professionals, veterans, and military spouses—to become part of its story. Whataburger is fully committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, age, or any protected status under law. The company also participates in the federal E-Verify program to ensure a legal and compliant workforce.

Located at 3519 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX, the Whataburger team invites enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to apply and start a fulfilling career in hospitality with a company dedicated to making every day a good day for both employees and customers. Whether you're seeking part-time flexibility or a full-time career, Whataburger offers an exciting environment with a genuine culture of growth and appreciation.
