The role of Restaurant Team Member at Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar is both multifaceted and rewarding. Individuals selected for this position will engage in a variety of operational activities, supported by detailed cross-training designed to cultivate a diverse skill set. Team Members have the opportunity to contribute to multiple facets of the restaurant’s operation, including cashiering, bartending (with required certifications), cooking, prepping food, and utility functions such as food running. This level of cross-functionality ensures a dynamic work environment where every shift presents new opportunities for learning and collaboration. The role requires adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced airport setting, where team members may rotate between shifts and locations depending on business needs and scheduling constraints. Working at an airport location demands a flexible and reliable workforce, with shifts that may start as early as 4:00 a.m. and extend until late hours as 1:00 a.m., including weekends and holidays. Team Members are expected to welcome guests warmly, take and process orders efficiently, prepare fresh food according to company recipes and standards, serve alcoholic beverages when certified, and maintain cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the restaurant. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory through receipt of deliveries, stocking supplies, and adhering rigorously to food safety, sanitation, and airport security requirements. Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Food Handler Card
- Responsible Beverage Service certification before performing bartender duties
- Ability to successfully complete airport badging process and required background check
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
