As a military-friendly employer, they actively encourage veterans and their spouses to join their teams, further enriching the workplace with unique perspectives and experiences.
This job opportunity is for the role of a Team Member on the back-of-house kitchen crew, located in Naperville, IL, at 307 South Washington. The position invites individuals who are enthusiastic about food preparation and eager to develop culinary skills in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. With an hourly pay range from $15.00 to $20.00, the role accommodates both part-time and full-time schedules, providing flexibility suited to diverse lifestyles and commitments.
As a Back-of-House Team Member, you will be at the heart of the kitchen operations, responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and maintaining a smooth, efficient kitchen workflow. No prior experience with sauté pans or cooking techniques is necessary, as paid hands-on training is provided to help you master kitchen and sauté skills. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude, contributing directly to the quality and consistency of every meal served. Your efforts not only impact the customer's dining experience but also support a collaborative, engaging work environment.
The position involves working safely with kitchen equipment, managing multiple tasks during peak hours, and adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine kitchen duties. The company prioritizes employee well-being, offering a range of benefits such as competitive pay plus tips, flexible schedules, and early access to earned wages. Additional perks include meal and lifestyle discounts, tuition assistance, recognition programs, and free mental health, legal, and financial resources. For those interested in career growth, leadership development programs and language courses in Spanish and English are available.
Noodles and Company's commitment to its employees extends beyond the workplace, with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance options, a 401(k) plan with employer match, stock purchase discounts, and inclusive resource groups that nurture personal and professional development. Each successful candidate is treated to a complimentary meal after the interview, symbolizing the company's value of great connections built through great food. If you are ready to learn, grow, and work with a supportive team that values your contributions, this position offers a promising start or advancement in the culinary field.
