Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to bend, twist and reach
  • able to lift up to 55 pounds
  • willing to work flexible hours including peak times
  • pass any required food safety certifications
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willing to follow health and safety regulations
  • legally eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • no prior cooking experience required as paid training is provided
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • willingness to learn and develop new culinary and kitchen skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
  • dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • basic math skills to measure ingredients and follow recipes
  • ability to meet physical demands of the kitchen role
  • knowledge of food safety practices is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • ensure each dish is made with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
  • follow recipes, prep guides, and standard procedures accurately
  • learn and refine kitchen and sauté skills through hands-on training
  • maintain pace during peak hours and support smooth kitchen flow
  • work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where communication matters
  • manage multiple tasks effectively to help meet guest expectations
  • work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam
  • use kitchen tools, timers, and basic systems as part of daily routines
  • keep the restaurant clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation standards
  • bring dependability, positivity, and a supportive attitude to every shift
  • meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks
  • obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
