The establishment fosters a culture of growth, learning, and community connection, making it an attractive workplace for individuals looking to build their skills and enjoy a fulfilling career in the foodservice industry.
The role of a Front of House Team Member at Noodles & Company is crucial in creating memorable dining experiences for guests. This position primarily involves serving as the first point of contact for guests by warmly welcoming them, assisting with menu inquiries, accurately taking food orders, and ensuring smooth and friendly service throughout their visit. The team member contributes to the welcoming atmosphere by performing cashier duties, answering questions, and handling transactions with professionalism and care. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Front of House Team Member needs to communicate clearly with both guests and kitchen staff to maintain order accuracy and a speedy service flow. This role also emphasizes upholding cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
Noodles & Company values flexibility and work-life balance, evidenced by their offering of competitive pay ranges from $16.37 to $21.00 per hour, flexible scheduling options for both part-time and full-time employees, and benefits tailored to support an employee's health, well-being, and career development. Employees benefit from access to tuition assistance, scholarship opportunities, and leadership programs intended to foster professional growth. Additionally, the company promotes an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, making it an appealing choice for veterans, young people, and anyone passionate about the hospitality industry.
Working at Noodles & Company provides more than typical entry-level foodservice experience; it is a chance to be part of a supportive team where every contribution is valued and every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact. The company recognizes achievements through various programs and offers mental health, financial, and legal support services. Unique perks include free online language courses and lifestyle discounts that enhance the employee experience beyond the workplace.
This role requires individuals who are dependable, positive, attuned to detail, and willing to engage actively with guests and team members alike. Physical stamina is important as the job may require prolonged standing, lifting, and routine restaurant tasks. Importantly, the company encourages teenagers aged 16 and over to apply, providing an excellent pathway into the workforce for young talents eager to develop new skills. Equal employment opportunity and support for military personnel are core to Noodles & Company’s values, reinforcing its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
