Love's Travel Stops is currently seeking dedicated Restaurant Cashiers to join their team. In this fast-paced role, cashiers play a vital part in delivering excellent customer service and supporting overall store operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing payments, maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment, and assisting in food preparation to ensure customers enjoy a high-quality dining experience. The role includes general customer service duties such as taking food orders, answering questions about menu options, and attending to customer needs promptly and politely. Cashiers will also balance cash registers accurately and seek opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling. Additional responsibilities include preparing customer orders from various kitchen stations like sandwich making, fry, and grill stations, utilizing technologies and strict food safety standards to ensure fresh, safe food offerings. The position also allows for cross-training in other departments like facility maintenance, store cashier duties, fresh kitchen roles, and leadership positions, providing avenues for career development.
