The company places a high value on creating meaningful connections with its customers and fostering a culture of hospitality and care within every bakery-cafe location.

As a Restaurant Team Member at Panera Bread, you become an essential part of this mission, acting as the heart of hospitality within the bakery-cafe. This role centers on delivering warmth, excellence, and joy to every guest interaction, ensuring each person receives the best possible experience from the moment they enter the bakery-cafe until they leave satisfied. By greeting guests with genuine enthusiasm, assembling fresh food items with precision and care, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, you contribute directly to Panera's continued growth and success.

The Restaurant Team Member position is dynamic and multifaceted, offering opportunities to work in various areas of the bakery-cafe including Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, and Quality Control. This variety allows team members to develop a broad skill set and discover their unique strengths in creating memorable guest experiences. Flexibility is key, as team members adapt to shifting daily priorities and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations.

In addition to the rewarding customer-facing aspects, this role also emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards. Supporting a safe and inviting environment involves adhering to food safety protocols, performing cleaning and stocking duties, and preparing for upcoming shifts. As a team member, your positive attitude and proactive approach help foster a workplace culture where everyone feels valued and motivated.

Panera Bread values its team members and offers competitive pay ranging from $11.41 to $17.00 per hour, along with eligibility for team tips. The company supports work-life balance through flexible and reliable scheduling and provides additional benefits such as paid vacation, sick time, holidays for full-time employees, and comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance. Furthermore, Panera Bread promotes career advancement and leadership development opportunities, tuition discounts, and rewards programs that recognize employee contributions.

Joining Panera Bread as a Restaurant Team Member means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization that prioritizes community connection and quality experiences above all. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love interacting with people, and have a passion for food service, this role offers an engaging and fulfilling career path with growth potential.
