As a Team Member at Papa John's, you will play an essential role in ensuring that every customer receives quality products and service that meet the company’s high standards. This hourly, non-exempt position involves working assigned workstation duties which include making delicious pizza products, preparing fresh ingredients, taking customer orders with professionalism and urgency, and providing exceptional customer service either face-to-face or via phone. You will be supported with comprehensive training materials such as the Operations Manual, Cross-Training Guidebook, and Team Member Handbook, ensuring that every task is carried out with consistency and professionalism. The role requires commitment to teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude to support other workstations, complete closing duties including cleaning, and maintain organized and safe work areas. Efficient use of the FOCUS System for order processing and transactions is also a key aspect of the job. Additionally, the position emphasizes suggestive selling techniques to help increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and unexpected situations while always working to exceed customer expectations.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old to perform certain duties such as pizza loading, oven tending, pizza cutting, dough docking, and dishwashing. The job may require long hours, including nights, weekends, and unscheduled shifts due to emergencies. Physical demands include standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally more, as well as working in various indoor and outdoor environments that may contain noise, odors, and potentially hazardous equipment. Job Qualifications
