The Restaurant Team Member role at Panera Bread is pivotal in bringing the company's brand of warmth and hospitality to life. You will execute a variety of duties depending on your assigned area, such as production, preparation, service, cashier, exposition, drive-thru, barista, guest experience champion, or quality control. You will be responsible for greeting guests enthusiastically, assembling fresh and delicious food items with accuracy, assisting customers throughout the cafe, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, adapting to daily priorities, and supporting your team through various operational tasks. Job Requirements

  • minimum age requirement of 16 or older
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • ability to communicate clearly and understand directions in a loud environment
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • passion for guest service
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • basic food safety understanding and practice, including Food Handler's Card as required
  • enjoyment of working with food

Job Duties

  • execute duties for specific bakery-cafe areas such as production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, barista, guest experience champion, or quality control
  • greet every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
  • assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, accuracy, and efficiency
  • assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas
  • maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards and cleaning protocols
  • stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude
  • support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift
