This position is for a Restaurant Team Member, an essential role within Panera Bread’s bakery-cafes. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will be the face of the brand and the heart of hospitality, creating meaningful experiences for every guest that walks through the door. This role involves many dynamic tasks including greeting customers, assembling menu items such as salads, soups, and sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You'll work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth operation of the cafe, from food preparation to cashier duties and guest support in dining and drive-thru areas. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Clear communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic food safety knowledge and food handler’s card as required

Job Duties

  • Execute duties specific to areas within the bakery-cafe such as production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, barista, guest experience champion, QC
  • Greet every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
  • Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards and cleaning protocols
  • Adapt to daily priorities with a positive attitude
  • Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift
