With locations across the United States, Panera Bread focuses on creating a warm and inviting environment where guests can enjoy delicious meals and beverages in a friendly atmosphere. The company emphasizes fresh ingredients, made-to-order food, and community involvement, which has contributed to their loyal customer base and continuous growth in the fast-casual dining industry.

Working at Panera Bread means becoming a part of a team that prioritizes hospitality and guest satisfaction. The Restaurant Team Member role is essential to bringing Panera’s philosophy of warmth and genuine care to life in every customer interaction. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will have the unique opportunity to connect with guests, provide outstanding service, and help support the bakery-cafe's day-to-day operations. Your presence impacts not only the guest experience but also the success and growth of your local Panera Bread bakery-cafe.

The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities focused on guest service, food preparation, cleanliness, and teamwork. You will serve as an ambassador of Panera’s values by greeting guests warmly, assembling fresh food orders with care and accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe environment that complies with food safety standards. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may work in different areas such as production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, barista, guest experience champion, and quality control. This diversity offers the chance to develop a broad skill set and grow your career within the company.

Panera Bread offers competitive pay, eligibility for team tips, and free on-shift meals and drinks to support team members while working. Flexible and reliable scheduling options allow you to balance your work with other commitments. Full-time team members enjoy paid vacation, sick time, and holidays, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, pet insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Panera Bread also supports career advancement with leadership development programs and tuition discounts, recognizing the importance of investing in team members' growth and education.

In this role, you will thrive if you have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making people smile by creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy. The fast-paced environment requires multitasking ability, reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic food safety knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment are essential. Previous food service experience is preferred but not required, making this a great opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in hospitality and food service.
