Job Duties
- Demonstrates and reinforces Potbelly's behaviors and values including integrity, food loving, teamwork
- Prepare quality finished products efficiently per Potbelly recipe manual standards
- Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety of shop
- Maintain personal hygiene standards including wearing clean Potbelly uniform
- Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
- Engage in friendly conversation with customers in line
- Work multiple stations as directed by manager or shift leader
- Restock food line, chips and cooler
- Deliver catering orders as detailed in the catering driver and delivery agreement
- Prepare meats and cheeses for different sandwiches
- Use automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
- Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
- Take out trash
- Operate cash register and handle all cash handling procedures
- Effectively handle customer complaints and issues
- Take delivery, catering, and pickup orders over the phone
- Perform other duties as assigned
