The role of a Restaurant Cashier at Love's plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety within their fast-paced restaurant environments. Key responsibilities include providing efficient and friendly service to customers by accurately taking food orders, answering menu-related questions, and addressing customer needs to ensure an outstanding dining experience. Candidates will also be responsible for balancing cash registers, managing payment transactions accurately, and exploring additional sales opportunities by promoting other products to customers. This position requires preparing customer orders safely and precisely from different kitchen stations such as sandwich making lines, fry stations, and grill stations, depending on the restaurant concept. Maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation in the work area is another vital part of the job to guarantee food safety and customer satisfaction. Additionally, employees may receive cross-training in other roles within the store such as fresh kitchen, facility maintenance, or even leadership positions, offering a diverse work experience and growth potential. Job Duties

  • General customer service duties including but not limited to taking customer food orders answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs
  • Balancing a cash register and offering additional sales opportunities to customers
  • Accurately and safely prepare customer orders from various preparation points within the kitchen to include but not limited to a sandwich making line a fry station a grill station or other station depending on the restaurant concept type
  • Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety conditions within the restaurant to ensure delivery of a fresh and safe product to the customer
  • Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier Fresh Kitchen Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
  • Ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
