Job Description

This job posting is for a restaurant position operated by an independent franchisee, separate from the corporate entity of Jack in the Box Inc. The independent franchisee manages all aspects of employment including hiring, wages, supervision, and scheduling. The restaurant offers a dynamic work environment focusing on customer service, quality food preparation, and teamwork. The hourly wages for this position vary based on location, offering $17.13 to $22.50 per hour in Washington and $16.00 to $18.00 per hour in Hawaii. Additional compensation includes a graveyard shift premium of an extra $1.00 per hour for shifts between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM at selected locations. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

  • ability to work flexible hours including night shifts
  • prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an advantage

Job Duties

  • greet customers in the restaurant or drive-thru window
  • work on the cash register or kitchen production position
  • prepare and store food and beverages
  • maintain the appearance of the dining room and exterior of the restaurant
  • serve food quickly and accurately
  • be a good team player and treat others with care and respect
  • lift and carry 15-25 lbs
