Job Description

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace, renowned for offering an authentic and immersive culinary experience. Unlike traditional chains, each Eataly location is unique, featuring its own character and thematic elements that reflect both local culture and Italian heritage. Eataly is dedicated to providing guests with a multifaceted experience where they can eat, shop, and learn all about the rich traditions of Italian cuisine and products. Through its assortment of restaurants, cafes, and to-go counters, Eataly invites guests to enjoy genuine Italian dishes crafted with high-quality ingredients. Beyond dining, Eataly offers an extensive selection of Italian, local, and homemade products in its market areas, providing guests the opportunity to bring a taste of Italy home. Additionally, Eataly emphasizes education by offering cooking classes and leveraging the expertise of its knowledgeable team members to enhance customer learning and appreciation.

The role of Table Support Team Member at Eataly’s restaurants is integral to delivering the premium dining experience the brand promises. This position is responsible for ensuring guests receive timely and accurate service, including the organization and cleanliness of dining areas. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Restaurants and Restaurant Floor Managers, the Table Support Team Member is a visible frontline representative who helps maintain the welcoming and professional atmosphere Eataly is known for. Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving bread and olive oil, running food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to guests, clearing used dishes, and resetting tables to prepare for new guests. The position demands strong organizational skills, excellent time management capabilities, and an ability to assist servers while maintaining detailed knowledge of menu items and ingredients. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry items as necessary during service.

This is a hands-on position that offers more than just routine tasks; it provides an opportunity to be part of an esteemed culinary marketplace that values authenticity, quality, and guest satisfaction. Compensation for this role is USD $16.60 hourly plus tips, reflecting Eataly’s recognition of the importance of excellent customer service and team contribution. The work schedule is flexible but often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of a dynamic food service environment. Candidates will find themselves working in a fast-paced, engaging setting that encourages learning through direct interaction with products, guests, and experienced colleagues. Eataly also promotes a supportive and inclusive work culture, ensuring that all team members feel valued and empowered. The team member benefits from a variety of offerings, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, retirement savings plans with matching, free family meals, employee discounts, and more. By joining Eataly, employees become part of a community devoted to the celebration of Italian culinary art and culture, united in creating memorable experiences for every guest.
