Job Requirements
- More than two years of post high school education required
- Previous restaurant supervisory experience or experience as lead trainer or shift leader
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within restaurant and hospitality profession
- Ability to investigate and analyze current activities and make logical recommendations
- Ability to make decisions guided by established policy and procedures
- Supervisory and management communication skills
- Ability to operate relevant computer software programs
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to receive supervisory and leadership training
Job Qualifications
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience as a property level restaurant supervisor preferred
- Exposure to scheduling, purchase order processing, time card calculations, and expense control systems preferred
- Degree in related area or equivalent years of experience
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
- Ability to multi-task within time constraints
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to give direction
- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions
- Able to apply mathematical concepts practically
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to receive supervisory training
- Team building and motivational skills
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage front of house guest experience during a shift
- Deploy resources and communicate plans to staff to meet service standards
- Use job skill handbooks to coach and train associates consistently
- Set daily expectations using approved tools and checklists
- Monitor time and attendance to meet labor budgets
- Resolve guest concerns following service recovery guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in assigned areas
- Assign duties to associates and inspect work for compliance
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and prepare reports
- Investigate complaints and take corrective action
- Manage outlet budgets including labor, food, beverage, and supplies
- Execute company programs and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations
- Respond to customer trends and enhance sales prospects
- Promote an accident-free workplace
- Monitor maintenance and sanitation of outlets and equipment
- Assist with month-end inventory as needed
