The Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor plays a vital role within the resort's vibrant food service operations, responsible for the success of one of the casino's food outlets. This position involves supervising day-to-day shift operations, ensuring outstanding service levels tailored to forecasted business volumes, and engaging actively—spending at least 90% of the time on the floor interacting with guests and coaching employees. The Shift Supervisor's role extends beyond operational supervision; it requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment while fostering a positive work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and excellent customer service. Leadership responsibilities include enforcing internal controls, policies, procedures, and appearance standards, along with handling employee issues through progressive discipline when necessary. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED certification or equivalent
  • One year supervisory experience
  • Two years experience in restaurant or food service capacity
  • Ability to complete New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire
  • Ability to obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Server's License
  • Ability to successfully pass background investigation
  • Ability to undergo pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
