The role currently open at The Westin St. Louis is for a full-time Restaurant Supervisor position at the Clark Street Taphouse & Grill, a notable dining venue within the hotel. Starting at $19.00 per hour, this role offers an exciting path for aspiring restaurant leaders who want to build a management career within a reputable hospitality brand. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading service teams, managing restaurant operations, and inspiring your colleagues to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Ideal candidates possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with previous experience in restaurant roles such as hosting, waiting, and cashiering. Experience with Marriott or hotel food and beverage service is preferred, and familiarity with POS systems like TOAST and cash handling is beneficial. Certification in TIPS or Serve Safe and knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles are required to ensure compliance with industry standards. The ability to multitask, problem-solve effectively, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant roles with a clear pathway to management
  • Certification in TIPS or Serve Safe required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately

Job Qualifications
