The position open at The Cottonwood is for a Restaurant Supervisor, a pivotal role that supports the Restaurant Manager by overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This position requires a passionate, guest-focused individual with excellent leadership and team management skills. The Restaurant Supervisor will manage staff, ensure excellent service standards, assist with training and development, and handle operational duties including inventory management and cost control. Candidates with a proven hospitality background, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach will find this role both challenging and rewarding. Certifications such as TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe are preferred, as is experience with MICROS POS systems and cash handling. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is also essential.

Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- proven experience as a host, server, or cashier
- supervisory experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong leadership and team management abilities
- knowledge of restaurant operations including inventory and cost control
- excellent problem solving skills
- prior cash handling experience
- experience with MICROS POS system
- TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe certification preferred
- understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- proficient in MS Office and POS systems
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
