This dynamic hotel is currently seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Supervisor to join their team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $19.20, reflecting the importance of the position within the hotel's food and beverage operations. The Restaurant Supervisor will take on a critical leadership role within the culinary and service departments, managing kitchen outlets and ensuring the seamless delivery of all dining services.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire kitchen staff as well as restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility, and sanitation associates, providing clear supervisory guidance to maintain operational excellence. This involves comprehensive training to enhance associate skills in food preparation, seasoning, plate presentation, and sanitation practices. They will also assist with scheduling, staff evaluations, and personnel management while maintaining open communication channels between management and associates.
This role requires a hands-on approach, with the supervisor stepping in to resolve operational challenges quickly and efficiently. Participation in weekly staff meetings, event order discussions, and monthly inventory reviews is essential to maintain the highest standards in food quality and service delivery. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role within a full-service restaurant
- Knowledge of beverage cost and sequence of service
- Familiarity with Micros Point of Sale system preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Completely direct the operational efforts and strategies of all kitchen outlets
- Supervise the entire kitchen staff as well as restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility and sanitation associates
- Train all associates in proper food preparation, seasoning, plate presentation, display work, cleaning and sanitation
- Assist with writing schedules, evaluating associates, and direction of all personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide associates with the necessary tools and equipment to perform their jobs
- Take immediate action to resolve operational problems in kitchen or restaurant
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, BEO meetings with sales, food and beverage meetings, and monthly kitchen inventory
- Ensure all food served is high quality, properly prepared according to recipe and efficiently expedited
