The store continuously distinguishes itself by offering a unique retail experience that combines trendsetting fashion with exceptional customer service. With a team that is passionate, driven, entrepreneurial, and collaborative, Bloomingdale's embraces diversity of background, thought, and opinion, fostering an inclusive work environment where every colleague has a voice and access to leadership at all levels.
Bloomingdale's Restaurant Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering a superior customer experience that aligns with the store's mission to be like no other retail experience in the world. The supervisor leads a dynamic team of customer-facing, production, and culinary staff dedicated to providing the highest quality service. The role demands a combination of leadership, operational oversight, and customer interaction skills. Whether patrons are enjoying their world-famous frozen yogurt or dining in a stylish setting, the restaurant team ensures each visit is memorable through excellent service, menu knowledge, and awareness of store activities. The restaurant's offerings are a blend of creative culinary dishes supported by a professional wait staff committed to an unparalleled dining atmosphere. This leadership role requires managing staff schedules to meet peak demand, maintaining company visual merchandising standards, overseeing food quality and presentation, and ensuring kitchen organization including inventory and food supply orders. Essential for success are strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and flexibility with work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, some crouching or stooping, lifting moderate weights, and frequent use of technology for transactions and communication. This job is part of Macy’s, Inc., an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive pay, performance-based incentives, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage from day one, paid time off, 401(k) plan options, and employee discounts at Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s stores.
