What began as a small venture with the purpose of giving back to the community has evolved into a global phenomenon celebrated for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. Shake Shack's dedication to 'Standing for Something Good' is reflected in every aspect of its operations, from the food it serves to the workplaces it cultivates. Working at Shake Shack means becoming part of the #ShackFam, a community that values diversity, inclusivity, and providing opportunities for professional growth and personal development. Employees enjoy an environment where they can bring their authentic selves, grow their careers through hands-on mentorship, and positively impact their neighborhoods and communities.

The role of Restaurant General Manager at Shake Shack is pivotal to maintaining the brand’s high standards and ensuring an outstanding experience for guests. This position calls for a highly motivated leader with at least three years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant management. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop your team, implementing company policies to uphold health and safety standards while driving sales and profitability. Your leadership will set the tone for a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence. Beyond managing daily restaurant operations, you will also serve as the face of Shake Shack in your local community by promoting the brand and participating in events that foster customer loyalty and community connections. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to grow professionally within a company that values innovation, employee well-being, and community impact. Shake Shack supports its managers with comprehensive training, development opportunities, and a fun, inclusive workplace environment, inviting you to be part of something truly meaningful while advancing your career in hospitality.
