Supervisors participating in serving shifts are eligible to participate in the restaurant’s tip pool or retain tips according to company policies and applicable laws. This position requires someone who can effectively lead by example, motivate and coach team members, and maintain high standards of guest service and operational efficiency.

The Restaurant Supervisor is expected to manage daily operations smoothly by monitoring staffing, guest flow, and service quality. They address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction and uphold the establishment's reputation. Additionally, the role involves performing opening and closing procedures, managing cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation with accuracy. The supervisor also ensures compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, sanitation regulations, and liquor laws, emphasizing the importance of safety and legal adherence.

Moreover, this position has a strong focus on team development, including assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members. The supervisor will provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth. Partnering with management, the supervisor contributes to achieving operational and financial goals, directly impacting the restaurant's success. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving aptitude to manage the dynamic demands of a busy restaurant environment effectively.

Ruby Hospitality offers competitive hourly wages commensurate with experience, employee discounts, paid time off, and benefits for eligible employees.
