We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our restaurant and lounge facilities. This position is pivotal to ensuring the overall success of the restaurant by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing staff effectively, and ensuring that inventory and supplies are adequately maintained. In this role, the Restaurant Supervisor will lead the front-of-house team, ensuring that all staff members are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests. They will manage scheduling to optimize coverage during peak and off-peak hours while providing training and coaching opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and performance. The supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, and conducting regular inspections to maintain these standards. Maintaining accurate sales records and preparing operational reports will be a key component of the role to assist with business planning and performance analysis.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including prolonged periods of standing or walking, occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds, and the flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and late hours when necessary. Experience in the restaurant industry is essential, with a preference for candidates with background knowledge in hotel food and beverage operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is also required to efficiently manage the operational aspects of the restaurant.

Job Requirements
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times

- Previous restaurant experience
- Strong leadership skills

Job Duties
- Lead the front-of-house, including managing, scheduling work shifts, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist in smooth operation of restaurant/lounge
- Provide training and coaching opportunities for staff
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory and purchase food and supplies
- Conduct daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
- Maintain sales records and prepare operations reports
