The Restaurant Supervisor position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the dining service operations within a luxury hotel setting. This role involves overseeing the smooth daily functioning of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction aligns with both brand and hotel standards. Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining the quality of service, managing staff performance, and promoting sustainable practices consistent with HHM's EarthView program. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching restaurant associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Financial responsibilities such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll management are essential elements of this role, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • knowledge of hotel PMS and Micros preferred

Job Duties

  • Interview select train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • perform various financial activities such as cash handling deposit preparation and payroll
  • resolve customer complaints regarding food and beverage service
  • forecast staff equipment and supply requirements based on menu
  • follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • ensure positive working relationship with vendors
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as requested by management
