The Restaurant Supervisor role at HHM Hotels is a vital position responsible for overseeing restaurant operations in accordance with brand and hotel guest service standards, as well as sustainability initiatives. This role is centered on ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction by managing daily activities and supporting the restaurant team. Key responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting restaurant associates to ensure they perform according to the established standards. The position requires hands-on management including overseeing cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll activities. It also involves resolving customer complaints related to food and beverage service, forecasting staff and supply requirements based on the menu, and ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability guidelines.

An important aspect of the role is fostering positive working relationships with vendors and other stakeholders to support smooth operations. The Restaurant Supervisor is tasked with practicing and promoting safe work habits, adhering to OSHA and MSDS standards, and playing an active role in HHM Hotels' EarthView sustainability program. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • knowledge of hotel PMS and Micros preferred

Job Duties

  • Interview select train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • perform various financial activities such as cash handling deposit preparation and payroll
  • resolve customer complaints regarding food and beverage service
  • forecast staff equipment and supply requirements based on menu
  • follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • ensure positive working relationship with vendors
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as requested by management
