The role of Restaurant Supervisor at the Omaha Marriott is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and the food and beverage industry. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you are entrusted with ongoing training and motivating staff to drive service excellence and ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires versatility, with responsibilities spanning front-of-house tasks such as serving, cashiering, and expediting, as well as back-of-house activities. You will manage staff supervision during the manager’s absence, monitor food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation, and proactively handle inventory and cost controls.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant hospitality or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred
  • previous bartending experience and knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • ability to read write and communicate effectively in english
  • strong customer service skills
  • comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts
  • proficient knife skills
  • capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • previous restaurant hospitality or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred
  • previous bartending experience and knowledge of food and beverage operations including staffing equipment and guest relations
  • ability to read write and communicate effectively in english including guest requests and banquet event orders
  • strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and diplomacy
  • proficient knife skills and ability to perform prep work with dexterity
  • capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent required

Job Duties

  • perform all front- and back-of-house roles including server cashier and expeditor as needed
  • supervise staff and oversee department operations in the manager's absence
  • support ongoing training to uphold service and brand standards
  • monitor food quality service cleanliness and sanitation across all areas
  • manage inventory order supplies and control payroll and equipment costs
