The Restaurant General Manager role at Shake Shack offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a high-volume, fast-paced setting, where hospitality and operational excellence intersect. This full-time position carries a competitive salary range between $65,561.60 and $84,385.60, reflecting the importance of the position within the company. As a General Manager, you will be entrusted with coaching and developing team members, managing inventories, ensuring compliance with local and state health and safety codes, and overseeing payroll and scheduling functions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledgeable in business financial operations
  • Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
