We are currently seeking a passionate and guest-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join the expert team at Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa. In this pivotal role, the Restaurant Supervisor will assist the Restaurant Manager in various operational and leadership tasks, including the training and development of staff members. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the resort's dining outlets, which include the main restaurant, Grove Grab N Go, and the Agave Fresca pool bar. The Restaurant Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that service delivery meets the resort's high standards, promoting a seamless, enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or restaurant supervision preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong leadership and team management abilities
  • knowledge of restaurant operations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • commitment to food safety standards
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to participate in training and development programs

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong leadership and team management abilities
  • knowledge of restaurant operations including inventory management and cost control
  • excellent problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • experience with MICROS POS or any POS system preferred
  • TIPS, CPR and Serve Safe certification preferred
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • proficient in MS Office and POS systems
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • assist the restaurant manager with training and development of staff
