Job Requirements
- must be age 18 or over
- must comply with city Department of Health regulations and dress code policies
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 6 hours in a fast-paced environment
- frequent reaching, bending, squatting, and stooping
- ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds repetitively
- regular attendance
- ability to use cash register, calculator, knives, meat slicers, buffalo choppers, drills, mixers, can openers, scales, and dishwashing machines
- must not be infected with communicable disease transmissible through food handling
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 6 months of supervisory experience preferably in food service
- ability to direct staff effectively
- strong communication skills in English
- proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to memorize basic job routines
- ability to perform cash handling accurately
Job Duties
- supervise employees in job set-up during shifts and close of shift
- oversee catering and delivery coordination
- manage order taker, cashier, front and back line positions, and delivery drivers
- ensure overall effectiveness within area of responsibility
- direct staff and exercise sound discretion
- handle and balance money and credit card charge slips
