Job Requirements

- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods

Job Qualifications

- Proven experience in restaurant supervision or management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

- Knowledge of training methodologies and curriculum design
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
- Demonstrated ability to deliver superior customer service
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations such as ServSafe
- Experience in inventory and cash handling procedures
Job Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining outlet staff
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
- Ensure the floor is covered during all meal periods to maintain service standards
- Ensure all steps of service as outlined in training materials are followed daily
- Complete checklists, requisitions, and opening and closing duties each shift
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information
- Communicate professionally with guests and staff, responding appropriately to requests
- Remain calm and alert during emergencies or busy periods, serving as a role model
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulations such as ServSafe
- Interact positively with customers, promote hotel facilities, and resolve issues
- Monitor food quality and service standards, making necessary adjustments
- Utilize computer systems for charging customers, reporting, and data management
- Maintain hotel cash handling procedures
- Ensure cleanliness in all outlets daily
- Solicit guest feedback on service and offerings
- Collaborate on inventory management for beverages and supplies
- Submit detailed and timely daily and monthly reports
- Support marketing efforts, including promotions and social media updates
- Assist in planning and execution of special events
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs
- Conduct competitive research and propose improvements
- Support overall Food & Beverage operations and special projects
- Participate in Manager on Duty coverage including weekends
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
