Job Description

Cruise Line is looking for a Restaurant Steward to provide support in the Main Dining Rooms, Buffet, and Crew Mess during service and ensure cleanliness in these areas. The role includes table turnover, promoting beverage service, equipment safeguarding, and adherence to safety and environmental policies.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year previous restaurant experience in land-based or shipboard operation
  • minimum of one year previous experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
  • high school diploma or foreign equivalency required
  • courses and training in safety, environmental, public health, and sanitation regulations and procedures required
  • intermediate to advanced level English verbal and writing skills
  • passionate about hospitality and customer service
  • professional appearance and good hygiene
  • able to work 7 days a week
  • able to develop camaraderie with team members
  • physical ability to stand, walk long distances, lift more than 25 pounds, and participate in emergency life-saving procedures and drills
