The role of Shift Supervisor at Peter Piper Pizza is integral to maintaining the high standards of quality and hospitality that guests expect. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the execution of Peter Piper Pizza’s operational standards by overseeing the guest experience, ensuring a clean and safe environment, training and coaching team members, and supporting key holders and team leads. This position offers a blend of supervisory leadership with a customer service focus in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The role ensures profitability by managing labor costs, food waste, and sales performance through close attention to operational efficiencies. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 6 months of supervisory, lead or training experience preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry or equivalent combination
  • basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant by following the appropriate checklists
  • ensure the profitability of the restaurant through various means including sales, control of labor costs, and food waste
  • model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations
  • train, coach and develop Team Members
  • ensure all Team Members adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • maintain a safe working environment for all Team Members and guests
  • assign daily tasks to Team Members and follow-up
