The Shift Supervisor role at Peter Piper Pizza is pivotal in maintaining high operational standards and ensuring guests receive a superior experience. This position involves opening and closing the restaurant, managing profitability by controlling labor and food costs, and modeling outstanding guest hospitality expectations. The Shift Supervisor is also responsible for training, coaching, and developing team members, certified trainers, team leads, and key holders. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and maintaining a safe work environment is essential.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 6 months of supervisory, lead or training experience preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry or equivalent combination of relevant supervisory, lead or training experience
- basic computer skills
- must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift
- must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests and co-workers
- availability to work in an environment with flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant by following the appropriate checklists
- ensure the profitability of the restaurant through sales, control of labor costs and food waste
- model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations
- train, coach and develop team members
- ensure all team members adhere to rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- maintain a safe working environment for all team members and guests
- assign daily tasks to team members and follow-up
