The Shift Supervisor role at Peter Piper Pizza plays a vital part in maintaining the restaurant's daily operations according to company standards. This position responsibilities include ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality and high-quality food in a clean and safe environment. Shift Supervisors coach and develop team members, certified trainers, team leads, and key holders, supporting the growth and success of the team. Key duties involve opening and closing the restaurant, managing profitability through cost controls on labor and food waste, reinforcing guest hospitality expectations, and assigning and following up on daily team tasks.

Ideal candidates for this role are at least 18 years of age, possessing a high school diploma or GED along with supervisory or leadership experience preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry. The role demands basic computer skills and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and walking during shifts. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 6 months of supervisory or lead or training experience preferably in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift or carry objects weighing 0 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift
  • Ability to handle job stress and work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant by following appropriate checklists
  • Ensure the profitability of the restaurant through sales, controlling labor costs and food waste
  • Model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations
  • Train, coach, and develop Team Members
  • Ensure all Team Members adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all Team Members and guests
  • Assign daily tasks to Team Members and follow up
