As the Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations while embodying the spirit and energy of a bustling Mexican eatery. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a shift manager or relevant role in the restaurant industry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Availability to work weekends and different shifts
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and complaint management skills
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environment

Job Duties

  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
  • Maintain a fully stocked inventory and order food supplies as needed
  • Arrange to have shifts covered when employees take time off

  • Track daily costs and revenues
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
  • Coordinate with suppliers as they deliver food product orders
  • Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
  • Open or close the restaurant when responsible for the first or last shift
  • Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
