The role offered is a full-time Shift Manager position located at 702 Main Street, Houston, TX, within the Downtown Houston area. The Shift Manager will have a critical role in ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, quality, and efficiency during their shift. They will lead and manage hourly team members, guiding and motivating them to perform at their best. The role is not limited to overseeing front-line operations but also involves assisting with various operational support functions like inventory management, purchasing, and receiving. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in restaurant leadership
- Food safety certification
- Strong problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Job Duties
- Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
- Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members
- May assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory
- Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
