This job opportunity is presented by an independently owned and operated McDonald’s restaurant franchise, distinctly separate from McDonald’s USA corporate entity. The franchise operates under a license that permits the use of McDonald’s branding, logos, and food products but maintains independent control over all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, staffing, supervision, scheduling, and employee discipline. This means that if you are selected for the role, your employment contract and relationship will be directly with the franchise owner, not McDonald’s USA. The franchise is responsible for all decisions regarding your role and work experience within this specific McDonald’s restaurant.
As a Shift Manager within this McDonald’s franchise, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every customer enjoys a fast, friendly, and efficient experience during each visit. This position requires leadership skills to motivate and guide crew members and other managers on each shift to consistently deliver quality food, excellent service, and maintain cleanliness standards. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including planning and overseeing the shift, monitoring performance, enforcing safety and security protocols, managing profitability, and ensuring seamless communication between shifts to maintain operational excellence.
Your leadership will be instrumental in meeting the established goals for the shift and supporting the assigned departments’ objectives. Day-to-day duties span a wide scope, from managing food safety standards to inventory control, directing internal communication pipelines, scheduling employees, and conducting training sessions to develop staff capabilities.
