Shift Leaders are expected to create a positive work culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role offers competitive weekly pay, flexible schedules including day, night, evening, and overnight shifts, as well as paid time off. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability benefits, and a 401(k) plan with a company match up to 4%. Whataburger also provides extensive career development opportunities with the potential to grow into higher leadership roles with six-figure earning potential. Additional perks include scholarships through the Whataburger Family Foundation, educational support with free English language courses and reduced tuition programs, employee meal discounts, and various wellness and technology discounts.

Since its founding, Whataburger has focused on investing in people, encouraging employees to lead with integrity, serve with heart, and bring their best selves to the team every day. This role is ideal for driven individuals seeking to enhance their leadership skills, build strong operational knowledge, and contribute to a team-oriented environment where every shift is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Whether leading the front line or supporting business operations behind the scenes, Whataburger offers a welcoming culture with pathways for continuous learning, advancement, and recognition within the fast-paced and rewarding restaurant industry.
