The role available is for a Shift Leader, a pivotal position within Zaxby's team structure. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of a shift, ensuring that all processes, people, and products are managed effectively to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable transportation
  • available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
  • ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • successful completion of background check

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan
  • complete food safety certification
  • follow additional training as required by Zax LLC
  • create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members
  • mentor, coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns
  • prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints respectfully
  • create and maintain positive culture and morale through recognition and leading by example
  • communicate shift goals and motivate team members
  • delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift
  • maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with Zaxbys guidelines
  • ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld
  • enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members meet expectations
  • receive and reconcile truck deliveries and complete daily inventory counts
  • manage food production and quality and take corrective action when necessary
  • track food safety and quality and ensure accurate orders
  • plan shift duties and complete opening and closing duties
  • collaborate with management team on goals and report progress
  • ensure processes and policies are properly followed
  • follow company cash management policies
  • maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • utilize management tools and keep records neat and accurate
  • maintain flexibility to perform beyond description parameters
  • ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed
  • immediately report human resources and risk management concerns
  • escalate other concerns to supervisor
  • perform all duties necessary to ensure restaurant operation
