Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable transportation
  • available to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days nights weekends and holidays
  • successful completion of background check
  • demonstrates leadership qualities organizational skills and ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • leadership experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan
  • complete food safety certification and any additional training required by Zax LLC
  • create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet company standards
  • mentor coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to General Manager
  • prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns respectfully
  • create and maintain positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
  • communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet goals
  • delegate tasks and supervise performance during shifts
  • maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies
  • uphold service product quality and cleanliness standards consistently
  • enhance guest experiences by exceeding guest expectations
  • receive and reconcile truck deliveries and complete inventory counts
  • manage food production and quality by monitoring prepping cooking and holding processes
  • track food safety and quality and ensure order accuracy
  • plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing duties are complete
  • collaborate with management team to develop and report on goals
  • ensure processes policies and procedures are followed
  • follow company cash management policies
  • maintain compliance with laws and guidelines
  • use management tools to keep accurate records
  • maintain flexibility to perform above job description
  • ensure team works safely and report HR and risk management concerns
  • escalate concerns to supervisor when appropriate
  • perform all other duties to ensure proper restaurant operation
