As a Restaurant Shift Leader at Love's, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant while driving exceptional customer experiences. This leadership position involves assisting the General Manager in managing daily operations, following safety and food quality protocols, and motivating team members to deliver timely and efficient customer service. You will also be responsible for overseeing cleanliness, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and sales initiatives to meet customer satisfaction and business growth targets. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in restaurant or retail leadership preferred
  • knowledge of food safety procedures
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to perform frequent lifting and moving of heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work various shifts
  • intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
  • drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
  • assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and reporting
  • work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders timely and to maximize customer service expectations
  • oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas
  • ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
