This position is for a Restaurant Shift Leader at BURGER KING4, a globally recognized fast-food hamburger chain known as the original HOME OF THE WHOPPER4, with more than 11 million guests visiting daily worldwide. Founded in 1954, BURGER KING4 is the second largest fast-food hamburger chain in the world, boasting a legacy defined by premium ingredients, signature recipes, and family-friendly dining experiences. The Restaurant Shift Leader is a critical role that reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager and is responsible for overseeing all activities during their shift. This role ensures smooth store operations, exceptional guest services, and strict adherence to company standards.

As a Shift Leader, you will work hands-on along with your team, providing leadership, supervising staff, handling cash management, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and ensuring quality food preparation. You will also partner with the Management Team to implement the business plan effectively, deliver training to team members, and resolve issues promptly. The Shift Leader must demonstrate strong self-awareness, open to receiving and acting on feedback to improve operations and team performance continuously.

This role demands a proactive mindset to create a positive and supportive environment for employees to excel, treating others with respect and recognition. You will manage sales and labor tracking using Rackson systems, ensure compliance with cash handling and food control policies, and execute shift operations efficiently to uphold the brand's standards for service, food quality, and safety. Furthermore, this position involves identifying and developing future talent, applying financial acumen to enhance business decisions, and ensuring labor law compliance while leading with empathy and fairness.

With the requirement to support business success hands-on, the Shift Leader may regularly assist with preparing food, serving guests, cleaning the restaurant, and other duties as assigned. The role also requires physical capability to handle lifting cartons up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in varying temperatures found in different areas of the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience
  • Previous fast food restaurant experience required
  • Communication in English is required
  • Spanish comprehension helpful
  • Fundamental skills in reading, writing, math, and computer/POS systems
  • Strong leadership skills including calmness under pressure
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations
  • Ability to display a positive attitude
  • Ability to treat others with respect and care
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Spanish and/or English

Job Qualifications
