The Restaurant Server/Bartender role at FirstService Residential provides an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals seeking a friendly and dynamic work environment. This position is compensated at an hourly rate between $18 and $22, depending on experience, education, and specific responsibilities. The primary goal of this role is to offer exceptional customer service that ensures guests enjoy a remarkable experience, encouraging them to return repeatedly. Servers and bartenders are responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders, serving snacks and drinks, and effectively recommending menu items tailored to guests' preferences.

Candidates must be able to multitask efficiently while maintaining courteous, prompt, and personalized service. Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- accept orders for beverages and deliver to guests in assigned area
- ensure friendly and efficient service to the guest
- apply positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests
- complete all set-up duties in timely fashion
- welcome and greet guests
- provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service
- make genuine recommendations and up-sell beverage items using suggestive selling techniques
- answer questions about food, beverages, and other property services
- garnish cocktails and be knowledgeable about brands, prices, and availability
- monitor alcohol consumption according to TiPS guidelines
- receive cash and credit payments and maintain accuracy in bank
- perform opening and closing duties
- assist fellow servers as needed
- thank guests and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the beverage floor as directed
- perform other assigned duties
