At Gator's Dockside Port Canaveral, we are currently seeking experienced servers who will be the face of our restaurant and create welcoming, enjoyable experiences for all our guests. As a server, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of customer service our patrons expect. You will be responsible for taking food and drink orders with a positive attitude, ensuring accuracy with the use of our Toast handheld ordering system, and engaging with guests to make their visit as pleasant as possible. It is crucial that you have a good understanding of the menu so you can confidently make recommendations. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing itemized checks, collecting payments, and helping to maintain an efficient flow of service.
Success in this role requires the ability to work well under pressure while coordinating with bartenders, food runners, cooks, and other team members. Prior experience in fast-paced dining environments, particularly in customer-facing roles, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should be able to handle responsibilities independently, manage money accurately, and provide outstanding customer care that fosters repeat visits. Job Duties
- Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude
- input guest food and drink orders on a Toast handheld

- ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
- collect payments from tables
