Job Duties

Check all table set-ups for cleanliness and proper position before opening
responsible for side work prior to opening
set up service carts with clean and proper items
have knowledge of all food and beverage products
use service and merchandising techniques
work under supervision of the captain
attend daily menu meetings
order and serve cocktails to guests
assist captain with silver set-up before serving food
serve guests according to order system
stay at the station unless excused by captain
inform management of guest reactions and comments
be aware of guest needs and satisfaction
provide continuous service from start to finish
clear tables during meal progression
present and suggest desserts
take coffee orders and give to Server Assistant
check for after dinner drinks
recheck guest check before presenting
act as a guide through the dining experience
