Job Description

Americana House is Lodi's most anticipated new restaurant, brought to life by the renowned Michelin-starred Chef Charlie Palmer. This innovative dining establishment is redefining the local culinary scene with an elevated and bold experience that combines exceptional food, curated beverages, and lively entertainment. The restaurant features a newly designed bar offering an exquisite selection of wines and handcrafted cocktails, paired with seasonal dishes crafted to tantalize every palate. With live music and an inviting atmosphere, Americana House is not just a restaurant but a vibrant destination where guests can enjoy exceptional hospitality and culinary excellence.

The role of a Restaurant Server at Americana House is integral to delivering this extraordinary dining experience. As a Server, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for welcoming guests, providing warm, friendly, and attentive service, and ensuring every customer feels valued and satisfied. This part-time position requires flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, making it ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic and engaging work environment. The compensation includes an hourly rate of $16.90 plus gratuities averaging $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, reflecting the rewarding nature of the role.

In this role, you will engage with guests by taking accurate orders, answering detailed menu questions, and offering personalized recommendations on food and beverages, including appetizers, entrees, desserts, wines, and cocktails. You will anticipate guest needs, resolve any concerns professionally and promptly, and communicate dietary restrictions and special requests to the kitchen to ensure flawless service. Team collaboration is essential at Americana House, where Servers work closely with management and other staff to maintain smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. The role also includes completing opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization, restocking supplies, and adhering strictly to food safety, sanitation standards, and California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations. Training and professional development are ongoing, supporting your growth within the company.

Americana House is part of the esteemed Appellation hotel collection and is situated within the Wine & Roses Resort and Spa in Lodi, California. This collection seamlessly blends local elements with culinary artistry to create unique hospitality experiences inspired by the culture, community, and craftsmanship of each destination. Developed by Chef Charlie Palmer and hospitality veteran Christopher Hunsberger, Appellation offers career growth opportunities across various fields, including culinary arts, event planning, spa and wellness, administration, and management.

Lodi itself is a charming city in Northern California's wine country, known for its award-winning wineries, welcoming small-town atmosphere, and exceptional quality of life. The cost of living in Lodi is significantly more affordable compared to major metropolitan areas, making it an attractive place for professionals seeking both career advancement and a balanced lifestyle. With convenient access to Sacramento, the Bay Area, and Lake Tahoe, Lodi provides a harmonious mix of community, culture, and natural beauty.

Joining Americana House means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences. This position is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to excellence in hospitality.
