This role is a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary department focused on guest service excellence. The Guest Service Expert at The Ritz-Carlton is integral to enhancing the overall guest experience beyond simply serving food and beverages. Their work is about creating memorable moments by taking initiative in delivering a wide range of services that engage, interact, and care for guests throughout their visit. Whether setting tables, communicating with kitchen staff, attending to guests, or maintaining work and storage areas, the Guest Service Expert ensures that every transactional moment contributes to an exceptional guest experience.

Safety, quality adherence, professionalism in appearance, and communication are foundational to success in this role. The Guest Service Experts at The Ritz-Carlton are highly active, often standing, walking long periods, and navigating surfaces with varying conditions. Physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, carrying objects weighing less than 50 pounds, reaching high shelves, bending, twisting, stretching, and squatting are routine and must be performed consistently and reliably. This physical engagement is essential to maintaining efficient hotel operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.
